The images we see have all had great consequences for a large group of people, sometimes even on a global scale. Mostly because the depicted event itself directly influenced lives, other times simply because they were broadcasted and widespread, and therefore had a major influence. By freezing the frames just before the major event that’s about to happen in the image takes place, and placing them in a loop, it's prevented from happening in the image. The paradox is clear, because in all these situations we know what happened next – freezing the frames didn’t change that, only within the image itself.
